Supporting Mental Health: Our Team Completes Mates in Construction General Awareness Training
August 2025
Our team recently took part in General Awareness Training delivered by Mates in Construction, reinforcing our commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce.
The training focused on mental health awareness in the construction industry, recognising when someone may be struggling, and how to start supportive conversations. It also highlighted the importance of looking out for mates on site and knowing where to access help when needed.
Construction can be a high-pressure environment, and initiatives like this help create safer, more supportive workplaces. The session encouraged open discussion, reduced stigma, and provided practical tools our team can use both on and off the job.
We thank Mates in Construction for delivering an engaging session and for the vital work they do across the industry. At Roebuck Civil, we believe strong teams are built not only on skills and experience, but also on care, respect and support for our people.
